1,000 Fans Play Foo Fighters Song To Get The Band To Visit Italian Town

Learn to Fly – Foo Fighters Rockin1000 Official Video

Cesena is a twon in the sense that it has less than 100,000 people. There might be smaller towns, but what they managed to come up with is an amazing feat for the size. A total of 1,000 rock fans all got together to perform the Foo Fighters hit, Learn To Fly, in a bid to coax Dave Grohl and his boys to visit their neck of the woods in Italy.
The Rockin’ 1000 project was conceived by Fabio Zaffagnini during last year. He recently released the video of the get-together via YouTube. The video below shows the gathering of 1,000 singers, guitarists, bassists and drummer, inmiraculous union to play one of the Foo Fighters’ signature songs.
Zaffagnini can be heard in the video making the following plea to the band;

“Italy is a country where dreams cannot easily come true but it’s a land of passion and creativity, so what we did here is just a huge, huge miracle,” he says.
“One-thousand rockers that came from all over the nation at their own expenses and they just did for one song: Your song”.
I guess the Foos kind of have to visit now, don’t they? See what you think in the video below.
